Master's Level Student Therapist Carly Fry

Everyone deserves a champion, and taking the first step towards getting support, means that you are on the road to becoming your own. What a fantastic thing to do for yourself!

Prior to pursuing my masters in counseling, I have enjoyed a decades-long career in teaching. I have worked extensively with youth and families who experience the challenges associated with neurological differences, anxiety, and emotional struggles. It is through these experiences, and my desire to do more to connect with and support those I am entrusted to work with, that I chose to pursue a career in mental health.

There are times when changing relationships, life situations, and feelings can be too complex to process alone. As a person-centered therapist, I understand the importance of compassion and empathy in building strong therapeutic partnerships where we can navigate these changes together.

I strive to create a safe space where feelings, relationships and personal goals can be explored, with the individual being the central decision maker in the process.

It is in understanding, accepting and loving who we are, that we learn to create and maintain better relationships with those around us, and become the best version of ourselves. I look forward to taking this next step with you.

Carly provides counselling services to children, adolescents and adults; her fees are $75 per hour and a sliding scale is available to reduce barriers to counselling services.
