Registered Provisional Psychologist Chelsey Stasuik

I believe the most important part of counselling is the relationship between a client and therapist. I have a person-centred approach to counselling, meaning that my main goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental place for people to explore their own thoughts, feelings, experiences, and beliefs. I strive to show up as my authentic self for each client in order to build a strong trusting relationship. Through this relationship we can work together toward the changes you want to see in your life.

I believe that change happens through self-awareness, self-acceptance, and personal motivation. My aim is to provide reflections, observations, and tools that may help in this process but, ultimately, you are the expert in your own life.

I work with adults, teens, and couples using various modalities, including CBT, ACT, psychodynamics, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

On a more personal note, I am originally from a small town in Northern Alberta but have lived in Edmonton for the last few years. I enjoy anything that involves being outdoors, especially hiking, and I have a small collection of plants that I frequently forget to water.

Chelsey's fees are $180 per hour.
